Food Parcels Without Referral
Welcome to Alfie's Arc where we offer food parcels without the need for a referral. We ask for donations of £15 if you collect from our premises and there is the option to get it delivered for a further £3-£5 on top within a 10 mile radius of PO7 area.
These parcels contain multiple ambient products, fruit, vegetables and a large food bag of frozen meats and sundries.
No two parcels are the same as we never know what we are going to collect but everything is delicious and edible. On the right are some pictures of just a few of the items we collect that could be in your parcels.
We can cater for individuals with allergies, vegan, vegetarian, gluten Free and lactose free at no extra charge.
Anyone can order a parcel from Alfie's Arc, all that is required is filling in a sign up form (at no cost) to obtain allergen details, food likes or dislikes, name, address and contact details. See form below.
All monies raised and donations go straight back in to Alfie's Arc enabling us to continue doing what we do.
All food is sorted, stored and distributed in our 5 star Environmental Health Officer approved premises by our level 3 food hygiene certificated worker. Click HERE to check our food hygiene rating on the Food Standards Agency Government Website.

We recently received a grant to be able to add additional items into the food parcels we provide. We now include more fresh fruit and vegetable, frozen foods, ambient food such as tins and packets, treats, cat and dog food, cleaning products and toiletries. Remember that the items you receive change every time. It's very exciting!!
Our Impact
Over 4 and a half months we have collected food from 32 different stores from Petersfield to Southsea on a daily basis including, Asda, M&S, Waitrose, Bookers Wholesale, Lidl, Aldi, Sainsburys and KFC. These food collections can be anytime from 9am until 10pm and keep our volunteers very busy. The Image on the left show the impact we have made in just 4 months for some of these stores. There have been many more collections since. The food that we collect can be anything from Bread to Fresh Fish, Broccoli to Iced Coffee Drinks. Most of this food gets delivered and donated to the Homeless, Hostels, rough sleepers and those living in assisted living accomodation, the rest of the food gets stored and made into food parcels.
Community Initiatives
The food parcels that we provide are immense in the amount of food you receive so make sure that you have room in your fridge and freezer before you order one. We do encourage people to share food items that they may not want with others such as neighbours, friends and family. It's a great way to start a conversation with someone you normally wouldn't. Our food parcels encourage socialisation and inclusion in so many ways. By helping out so many people with food parcels we have been able to bring together some of the local community and we aim to provide our services to many more.
