Welcome to Alfie's Arc and the One Step Project
At Alfie's Arc, we are more than just a Community Interest Company; we are a family-run organisation dedicated to supporting our community in Waterlooville, Hampshire and surrounding areas. Our mission is to make a difference through various initiatives including providing food parcels and community-based projects but also providing Mental Health Support.
The One Step project
Our volunteers are there to chat or meet as soon as possible to ensure mental well being and are happy to be an ear for you whilst awaiting the professional help. We are able to assist you by sign-posting and referring you on to get you that professional help that may be needed but will ensure we are there with you along the way and beyond. We want to encourage socialisation and inclusion and reduce isolation so are in the beginning stages of arranging meet ups where individuals and groups can learn a new hobby, engage with others from all walks of life or just have people to chat to whilst partaking in an activity.
We are all about 'paying it forward' and fully encourage others to do so too.
If you feel that you need some kind of support or know of someone who does then please do not hesitate to contact us at Alfie's Arc in whatever form you prefer.
One Step Project: Mental Health Support
Our One Step Project offers tailored mental health support to individuals in need. Whether you are looking for advice, support groups, or simply a listening ear, we are here for you. We arrange meetups and days out on an individual basis or in groups, encouraging inclusion and combating isolation. We are also affiliated to the local Social Prescribers based at some of the local doctors surgeries in waterlooville and surrounding areas from PO7 through to PO9 so if you feel that you need referring on for social assistance then please contact us.
We are also able to refer on to other resources such as Debt Advice, Food Banks and Bereavement Support.

Community Assistance and Volunteer Opportunities
Aside from mental health support, we also provide essential food items to assisted living accommodations, homeless shelters, and those in need within our community. We believe in lending a helping hand wherever it is needed most. We deliver food items up to 7 days a week to many buildings within Two Saints, Salvation Army and Society of Saint James.
